Environmental Policy

Mabou Mining Inc recognizes that its activities and wider influences impact upon the environment. We are committed to continuously improving our environmental performance. We will seek to develop amongst suppliers, staff an appreciation of their role in bringing about environmental improvement both as members of the Mabou Mining Inc community and as members of society at large.

Guiding Principles

Mabou Mining Inc will comply with the policy statement by implementing principles to the extent that these actions improve the balance of the social, economic and environmental commitments of its company. Efforts will be made that contribute to the over-all well-being of its members.

Guidelines and Procedures

1. Reduce, reuse and recycle waste, conserve resources, reduce the amount of paper used, consider environmental impact when engaging in any activities.

2. Construct and carry our an action plan

3. Instil in its employees the desire to participate individually and collectively in sustainable activities both locally and in their homes

4. Develop a waste management plan for all aspects of its operation in keeping with the environmental policy.

5. Energy Conservation –Mabou Mining Inc will continue to further develop its resource and energy conservation plan for all its sites.

6. Purchasing Policy- Mabou Mining Inc will purchase recyclable, recycled content, less toxic, and locally produced products whenever feasible.
